Examining Susquehanna’s Petroglyphs

In Fall 2012 as part of their Susquehanna Country course, Professors Faull and Siewers took students to meet with Paul Nevin, a local expert on the rock carvings found in the Lower Susquehanna. Together they examined one of the rare Susquehanna River petroglyph sites at Safe Harbor, believed to have been made by members of the Algonquin peoples, 800-1000 years ago.
